Dr. Ferjenel G. Biron is a medical doctor turned reputable entrepreneur with two decades of experience doing business in the pharmaceutical and health industry. He is the founder of Phil Pharmawealth, Inc. established in 1993, and Endure Medical Inc. incorporated in 2002, both of which are leading companies engaged in importation and distribution of various pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and equipment in the country.

In 1998, he established the Singapore Pharmawealth Lifesciences, Inc., the first Filipino multi-facility pharmaceutical plant in the country producing injectable penicillin and derivatives, cephalosporins and carbapenems, and the first in Southeast Asia to manufacture inhalation anesthesia.

Being a true visionary, he pioneered the establishment of the Asia Pacific Medical Center (APMC) Group of Hospitals, a technologically advanced chain of medical centers located in the Philippine main island groups of Visayas and Mindanao, authorized by the Securities and Exchange Commission to go public through an initial public offering (IPO).

With fifteen years of service as a congressman in the Philippines, he principally authored the “Cheaper Medicines Act of 2008,” improving the affordability and accessibility of essential drugs and medicines in the country, and the “Food and Drug Administration Act of 2009,” which established the FDA. Through his leadership, he successfully steered the passage of the "Ease of Doing Business Act of 2018," which created the Anti-Red Tape Authority, and the "Revised Corporation Code of the Philippines," allowing one-person corporations and granting perpetual existence to corporations, among other amendments.
